Rayleague has the primordial objective of democratizing and make very simple the scouting process on a worldwide level. Rayleague will make available to all that are interested a platform able of allowing players to promote their career, thus allowing all clubs/academies/Agents that do not possess an effective Structured scouting department, have the ability to find young sports promises, young players or experienced players, that by any other means would never have the chance to observe and who knows, a chance to meet. We arrived to delete boundaries and barriers so that you can live the DREAM!
Why should I upload video?(go to top)
First of all because this is 2009! We have the technology that allows us to have online video streaming! And we all know that it is much more effective and attractive to see the capabilities of a player in action, at the minimum you only need a cell phone with a camera to record a simple clip.. And it’s free! So why not?
How should I make my video?(go to top)
Well, here you have creative freedom! We recommend the use of a good video camera and computer software edition of the movie clips, in this way you can make your videos attractive and not boring to the viewer. You should have at least two (2) kinds of video, in game videos were you are in action! But remember, try and edit the movie so that it does not become too long and boring. The other videos, doo some tricks that display your technique, some dribbles, headings, crossings, etc. Remember the important is to have videos!
How does Rayleague work?(go to top)
Rayleague has a simple operating system and similar to other social networks and video platforms that already exists. It´s main novelty is that it combines some of their features and presents a structured sports environment. Each player only has to register, create a profile and start adding player friends, clubs (Groups) they like, academies, etc. When you are filing your profile with data, you will have available a self-evaluation tool of the greatest importance, insert the data with rigor, because it will be one of your best help when someone makes a search! Rayleague will work allowing a fast search by characteristics, allowing after the visualization of the player profile with personal and sports data, videos, Photos to the researcher. If your videos receive good reviews, you will show up in the Squad of the week. Never again will your videos be lost in some other platforms non specialized! And all of this completely FREE!
Will Rayleague always be free?(go to top)
Yes. Rayleague will always be free, but it will have a premium version that allows you to have more functions available and increase your exposure inside the platform.
I was approached by a club, should I answer?(go to top)
Yes! You should answer, or let your parents/sports agent answer, after all that is the meaning of existence of Rayleague, promote players to clubs. Never the less if you suspect anything suspicious or that violates the terms of service you should inform the Rayleague administration to problems@rayleague.com.
I found an interesting player to my club, can I contact him?(go to top)
Yes of course, that is the main purpose of rayelague. We do not intend to be a player agency; we want to facilitate the contact between an interesting player and a interested club/agent/academy.

Why shouldn’t I “inflate” the Self-Evaluation?(go to top)
Because basically you will just be fooling yourself, keeping apart any potential interested person and you will eventually obtain the opposite effect to the one you intended. You will not promote yourself, only harm your image. Please have in mind that not even the best players of the world would have all at 100%, one can say that for example Messi would have dribble 90% and C. Ronaldo free kick 90%.
11- In what way can Rayleague help my School/Football academy?(go to top)
Rayleague can help! A lot! Today, to be seen, to be found in the web is crucial to the credibility of an institution!

  • Helps promoting tournaments set up by them in a simple and functional way;

How to upload a video to Rayleague?(go to top)
Very easy! You only need to access “Edit profile” select the option “add video”. It can take up to 5-10 min, this time is variable by the size of the movie and your internet connection.

Then please be aware that we have also thought in you! As a crucial part of the Football world (soccer) we could never imagine not to include you! And of course the advantages are many:

How do groups work?(go to top)
Rayleague has five kinds of groups:
  • Football Schools/Academies Group:
    If you are a School or Academy, this is your group! Create a group with its respective institutional name and edit your data info, place photos and videos that you think are relevant. After you have the group created, you can start adding players that belong or have belonged to your School/Academy.
    Official Group:
    This group was design to handle clubs that whish a official profile, its meant to prevent abuse and it is reserved to all clubs that want an official profile in the platform. It has a activation period between registration and activation, it requires the sending of a Application form by FAX to:+351 253 613 014. After due process, your profile will be activated with a “Rayleague verified” stamp.
    Regular Group:
    This group serves the social interaction purpose inside rayleague, it’s meant to be a group to allow the creation of interest clusters by the users, grouping with friends that play in other clubs and want to share something. There exists creative freedom in this group type, but it must not violate the Terms of Service.
    Coach Group:
    If you are a coach, this is the group for you, register has a user and create your group. After editing you profile with information you believe is relevant to better present yourself and training options. After performing this tasks, you can star adding players and clubs you represented or players that you have coached.
    Agent Group:
    This group is dedicated to football (soccer) agents, the agent should create a group, choose the agent category. After editing you profile, with relevant information, you can start to add or create the players represented by you and joining groups.
What does it mean the “Rayleague Verified” stamp?(go to top)
Similar to what happens in the official groups, all groups except the “regular” can complete a register form and obtain throughout the Fax: +351 253 613 014. You will receive the “Rayleague verified” stamp in your profile, which confers more credibility
How does the Squad of the Week work?(go to top)
The Squad of the week was designed to highlight players by position that receive more votes for the quality of their videos. The players with more votes will show up in the home page by their respective positions, for example: Midfielders only compete in votes with other midfielders, the number one “jumps” to the Squad of the week!
What are direct links?(go to top)
It’s possible to create personalized direct links to your profile, if by instance you nick is beckham, it can show up like this: http://rayleague.com/profile/name/beckham This way it is easier to transmit to your friends, much more personalized and of course.. Way cool!
